Terms of Service

Last updated: 4 November 2026

These terms apply when you use Locatr, which Nils Fischer, Germany, provides. By using the app, you agree to them.

The service

Locatr reads the links that you share with it and shows the places it finds on a map. Locatr is free. It finds places automatically, so a place can be missing, wrong, or out of date. Check important details, such as opening hours, with the place itself.

What you share

Share only content that you are allowed to use. You keep your rights in what you share. You let us store and process it as far as necessary to run Locatr, as the Privacy Policy describes. Do not use Locatr to break the law or to overload or attack the service.

Availability

We work to keep Locatr available, but we cannot promise that it always works. We can change features or stop the service. If we stop it, we will tell you in the app first.

Liability

We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body, or health. For slight negligence, we are liable only for a breach of an essential duty, and only for the typical, foreseeable damage. Liability under the German Product Liability Act is not affected.

Ending

You can stop at any time: open Settings in Locatr and tap Delete account. We can block an account that breaks these terms.

Law

German law applies. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the law of the country where you live.
